Banned energy drink Prime popularized by TikTok: 'More caffeine than allowed'

The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority is concerned about the popularity of the banned energy drink Prime among young people. The drink is said to be healthier because it contains no sugars and few calories, but it also contains 2.5 times as much caffeine as is permitted in the Netherlands. The sale of the Prime energy drink (can) is no longer permitted in the Netherlands, only the bottles containing the hydrating variant are still permitted. Candyestival no longer sells the prime drinks.

Candyfestival was recently interviewed by EditieNL about Prime drinks and the ongoing hypes on TikTok. You can view the entire item here .

Prime is the energy drink from influencers Logan Paul and KSI. The YouTube stars launched the drink a few months ago. Prime went viral on TikTok in no time
